A small magnetic field is created over the surface of the board, which is activated by holding the specially designed pen in proximity of the board's surface. The pen reflects a signal back to the board, which is then sent to the computer as an X/Y co-ordinate. This enables the computer to understand where on the surface of the board the user is pointing, thus tracking pen movement just like a mouse. Use of this digital technology enables fast, stable and accurate tracking. To facilitate this technology, a special pen has been designed, which is ergonomic, lightweight and cordless. Based on the Rotring Artpen, the pen has been designed to offer comfort and balance to the user, giving an intuitive, natural feel to every presentation. The Pen is battery-free so there is no need to worry about charging or replacing batteries. The PRESENTA board can be mounted on the wall or, for added mobility, onto the easy-to-assemble stand. Once positioned, getting started with the PRESENTA board is simple.
